After reading the following article I walked into the office and gave my faithful NT server a pat and told her that her days where numbered. I am not really into upgrading computers that are working as they are supposed to do. I think Microsoft does this just to make companies upgrade. Well I have decided the the server sitting under my desk will continue to run Windows NT until hell freezes over. Don’t fix what isn’t broke. [Microsoft Watch]

I still have a NT 4/Exchange 5.5 server running a DEC Alpha at the office. It’s on one of our more obscure networks and I dont dare touch it. It works, it does it’s job and hasnt been rebooted in over two years! Peronally, I’m a fan of Win2k/ and 3 with active directory (Made my life easier) but ya gotta love when an older OS just keeps cranking along doing it’s thing!
