I am fighting a very sour throat and a head cold but the show must go on, terrific line up of material tonight and I am on the hunt for a experienced podcaster in the Delaware area for a little civic duty.

During the podast, you ask why a Mac user would want to install Windows. Hey, aren’t we all geeks here? As a geek, you install it because you CAN, there doesn’t have to be a specific reason. It’s just a cool thing to do.

Also, there have always been one or two programs that I wanted but couldn’t get for the Mac. Now that problem no longer exists. I can have those programs, PLUS all the great iLife applications, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio, and all the other great pro apps that you can’t get on a PC. Plus – No Viruses/Spyware.

Todd, if you look at the specs, the price for the new “Mac Book Pro” (yeah, the name stinks), you’ll see that it’s priced quite competitively. When you add the dual-boot ability, it’s a steal.

Finally, the latest rumor (from Intel itself, see the post on Engadget) is that the new macs CAN run XP, and will also be able to run Vista, if/when it ever ships.
