Many people have run small web sites on there personal servers out of there homes using IP-Redirect services like Dynamic IP. But it appears the big and bad RIAA web site is being hosted in some dude’s house in Maryland on his Verizon connection. Which has been suffering a pro-longed Denial of Service Attack.
I wonder if the guy doing the hosting has permission to do that? When we launched this site we went with a professional hosting company why the RIAA would run there site out of some guys house is beyond me. Although it is kinda funny. [Security News]
I am a bit disturbed though in the way the refer to the web-hosting owner who is a disabled veteran.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Actually I think it is pretty funny that TheRegister.co.uk makes fun of the fact that the RIAA has been reduced to finding hosting on the home server of a ‘disabled veteran’. Like we are suppose to think they are doing something noble by being the only client on some disabled veterans home web server.
What’s even funnier is that we don’t know what the guys disability is… possibly the guy was a pyscho and they kicked him out – so he starts up his web hosting business off his home computer and sucks in the RIAA by bull shitting them into thinking he has some magical power to protect the lame ass RIAA web site from hacker attacks.
SNPX.com is right… there are some odd twist to this story
