I have been using Office 2000 and have yet to upgrade further but I am thinking this may be the round to do so. But as I look at my Office usage I find myself being in Outlook 90% of the time Word 7% and Powerpoint 3% so do I really need to upgrade. Each of us will have to make that decision but for those of us that qualify for a Teacher/Student discount may see this upgrade cycle as affordable. [InformationWeek]

The two largest reasons for upgrading this time around, for me, will be to have better use of the XML support that will be built into 2003, and 2) I will be able to upgrade the abilities of MSAccess, which I use alot to interact with various types of DBase Format databases, SQL Database, Oracle Databases, and mySQL Database. Access can be rather useful.
