Family DNA Privacy is at risk with pleas from commercial DNA collection groups wanting you to give them free rein over your DNA to allow it to be shared with law enforcement. One could be responsible for a family member getting locked up or worse yet yourself implicated in something you have now knowledge of. I know personally that my DNA is in the national database from my active military days. I knew what I signed up for, but what about you? Will your DNA test end up getting your family member locked up to solve an outstanding crime?
