Google Apps for Your Domain!

As many of you know that listen to my show you have been hearing me complain about the amount of Spam I have been getting. I have been looking all over the net for a solution and those that I found where either too expensive or they were made for people with small volumes of mail.

Apple iTunes Podcast Directory is a Piece of Crap!

I am Sorry but Apple has lost it’s way big time! Today when I tried to find some podcast in the iTunes directory, it was nearly impossible to find the shows that I was looking for.

Google getting called out on som of their Adsense Ads!

Seems everyday that their is a new article on on Google Adsense Policy, a new article out today calls into question some of the advertisers that are clearly abusing the system. Personally I have been battling companies targeting this site as well.

Copy Never Flag has TiVo Series Three signing the blues

A TiVo Series Three Receiver was on my shopping list for this Christmas season. I have been watching the reviews of the unit and the new C|Net review of the Series III that I saw today makes me wonder if I should take the unit off my wish list.

Some claim 2007 Will Be A Big Year For RSS?

The author of the Read /Write Weblog says that 2007 will be a big year for RSS. Personally I am not as optimistic, but I have been wrong before. His reckoning is that because IE7 will have RSS integrated the masses not using RSS to get content will essentially see the light and join the party.

I hate Linux sometimes I really do!

You know what makes me mad about Linux is that what works on one operating system will not work on another. Take for tonight as an example. I have a new backup server running Fedora Core 4 that I am configuring that will have a mirror setup of the server that this domain runs under.

Netscape could make it easier for Video Podcasters

I love what Jason and his team have done over at Netscape you can submit Video to their site, not only do they convert it and make a iPod ready version for those that only want to produce a single version but they also provide you a hyper-link to the original file you upload.

What does the YouTube – Google Marriage mean

If it is not self evident already with all of the deals being signed but it is pretty apparent that YouTube is about to become a mecca for commercial content. Every big player in the media industry is going to be line up at YouTube’s headquarters wanting to sign deals that get their commercial media in channels on YouTube.

Top 5 Wired Countries

The premises of this post is to ask you to consider why the United States barely made the Top 5 list. The questions to ponder is it because the telco industry has been slow to roll out access? Is it because the United States has a large rural population? Is it because that companies like Sprint, Verizon, Cingular have a very hard time getting licenses to put you transmission towers? Is it because these other countries have been quicker to adopt Fiber to the Curb?

My good friends 1.65 Billion is an amazing amount of money? Talk about the venture firms and creators of the site cashing in this is defnitley the deal of the year. We all know Video has been hot but wow. It will be interesting to see how they get their money back on this one. [CNN]

Judge may ask ICANN to shutdown SPAMHAUS domain!

In what I can only describe as sure stupidity on a judge’s part it seems that one of the organizations that keep a lot of Spam out of your inbox may be in trouble over a recent lawsuit. It seems after being sued by an accused spammer and then not showing up for the court case they lost by default.
