I keep telling people if you have stock in AOL aka Time Warner sell. After seeing there so called retention manual, I can only imagine the agony those poor customer service people had to go through. This thing was definitely written by someone that owns a serious amount of stock in the company, as no person in there right mind
Dave Winer is proposing that we go out and rebuild the community podcasting directory. I fully support this effort, considering the history of the site that was promised "once upon a time" to be the community directory which has turned into a disgrace. For those that were not around, or those that forgot what was promised to the podcasting community,
Kudos to the folks over at Dell for blogging about the flaming laptop. It is not to often you see a laptop burn up like a few cars I have seen go up in flames. Seems they are working with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and a third party failure analysis lab. Meanwhile if you own a Dell not sure
What does a Motorcycle, a video camera, a video posting service have in common. A very fast way to get arrested if you record yourself driving 100 Miles Per Hour and then place that video on the video posting service. Isn't technology terrific! You want to make a impact in your community setup a anonymous website film speeding cars in
Ever wonder why we are falling so far behind in broadband penetration and connectivity speed as compared to many other countries today? It's because there is no competition. Having your tranquil morning interrupted you decide to cook some eggs. As you open the egg carton you notice the eggs have a mark on them. Pulling one

But hey if I had the money backing behind

Guess what I'm not doing it, my DVD collection is lock in enough with country play restrictions. Any movie I rent on line digitally better have a

Peter Yorke at downloadradio.org has given a helping hand in helping the team at TechPodcasts.com have a robust delivery system.
Being a long term Prodigem user, and having actually written about the service in my book on Podcasting I am disappointed in some of the stuff they missed in the roll out of the re-launched service and have a couple of concerns. First they did not forward the old prodigem RSS feeds which is a monumental mistake to the new

While at Gnomedex I had a good conversation with one of the folks at FeedBurner, and he informed me that they were now able to measure actual downloads. I thought this was pretty cool. They are using a pretty common re-direct technique. Re-Directs are not a bad thing so long as you have a very robust network. FeedBurner has a
