First I hope you liked my discussion with Nikki on drive this morning for your benefit I have linked to several resources to get you started listening to podcast. Tech Bloggers changing the face of technology reporting

Their is not a day that goes by that I don't get 20 press releases, 10 software application notices and just recently offers to do product reviews. Thus far I have been picky, only selecting those articles, software and products that I am interested in. On the product review side, my wife keeps asking me why are you buying all

The Power of Podcasting and Linking to my Articles

I have recently started getting feedback from people I am linking to in my show notes. It is very obvious to me that some are very happy campers. On the other end of the spectrum I have had some very interesting letters delivered recently asking me to take a show down because of comment made during the podcast. I have

Podcasting Support In TiVo

It's pretty obvious that TiVo did not put a lot of thought into their roll out of podcasting support. TiVo you blew it you should have reached out to podcasters and let them give you some input you have missed a golden opportunity here. I have been thinking it would be cool to go to CES but the only way we can do it would be with a sponsor. If your interested lets talk podcast@podcastconnect.com

My personal investments are managed by someone that, I hope knows what he or she is doing. But with all the scandals and insider trading going on these days is it time to turn over portfolio

European Publishers essentially tell Google quit stealing our content!

I know many of you use Google News, personally I have been to the site maybe a dozen times or so over the past year. It seems though that European publishers are getting a little tired of Google making money of the backs of all of their paid staff and thinks they have went to far and are abusing fair

Podcast Is the Word of the Year!

Well that's a first for me, being involved with podcasting from the very beginning has been cool and it has been nice to the hard work of thousands of podcasters have paid off. I will be preparing my year in review post soon and I will talk about how podcasting has changed my life and opened many doors of opportunity.

96 hours of Hell

The past 96 hours if nothing else has been one heck of a learning experience, nothing like having to get in deep very quickly with Linux. Thank goodness I have a terrific system administrator. He pulled an all niter to get the box ready and we had to deal with some nagging bind issues but all is good now, and

DNS Migration

I see that the domain dns is still migrating I had hoped it would be completly migrated now another 24 hours should take care of it. We have the old box pointing at this server but don't have 100% confidence that everyone is getting to this site. Believe me it is nice to be able to do a planned migration

Geek News Central 2005-12-06

Well I go into great detail of how my server got compromised and the fun I had after it was re-provisioned. My word of advice if you have any applications that you are not using on your servers get rid of them, also if your a company that had a product that has a security issue you better get the
