Today I decided to let the cat out of the bag and talk a little about the vision and work going on behind the scenes, with The Podcast Connect Network. Looking for Partners, so make sure you drop us a line if you want to get aboard the train. [PodcastConnect.com] partner@podcastconnect.com
MyMD.com has a unique idea, medicine via email, IM, and video chat. In the past, the company's doctors had talked with patients over the phone, but now MyMD is giving 1,000 of its top member doctors iBooks and iSight cameras, hoping they will be able to do some of their consulting via video conference. Since many Doctors are dropping their patients with minor issues, and many patients are waiting in long lines to see a Doctor for a few precious minutes, MyMD decided to try an online approach to diagnosis.
Many of the most devote Star Trek fans are relieved that Star Trek Enterprise is saying goodbye next month. The latest Trek TV series has been viewed by many Trekkies as the weakest of all the franchise offerings. Well if you’re not one of these folks, and you really want to keep Enterprise on the air for another season, then you
Apache server software has been steadily increasing in popularity this year. When you hear someone talk about Apache, you assume they have a Unix-flavored server, but as of late, many folks are using Apache on their Windows machines instead of IIS. Their are many reasons for this including security, database usage and scripting. But running Apache on a Windows system is not always an easy task. The Telus Company in Canada has decided that anyone with a home broadband connection should not be allowed to run a home server. They feel that open FTP, IRC, and telnet ports are just too risky for their network. It’s funny because the ports are closed only if you purchase the $29.95 a month home user plan, if you purchase
I upgraded one of my network file servers, yesterday. I replaced a hard disk that was setting off occasional error notices, and, while while I was at it, I replaced the current operating system (Mandrake Community 10.1) with Knoppix 3.7. Knoppix is the Linux distribution that I use in class to demonstrate how simple Linux is to use, because Knoppix is a fully-functional operating system with common applications that can boot from a single CD. So, with the bootable CD, I can quickly convert any computer to Linux without the risk of deleting any existing files from the Windows operating system.

This is a lofty goal and one that I am serious about meeting. My wife may have a thing or two to say about this
How would you like to have the power to write about any company you liked at put the spin on it in a way that made them look like the only Podcasting company in the whole world. This smells of journalistic abuse. Great analysis of the article here. [www.thetwowayweb.com]
I have been watching the press focus in on a handful of podcasters it helps when they all keep there circle pretty closed and only talk about one another. Lately I have been digging around in the mires of the podcasting directories and am finding all kinds of Podcast that rock my world. Light bulbs always burn the brightest before
Not being much of a Linux guy I bit of more than I could chew when I signed up for the VDS service with GoDaddy. If you are going to run a standard webserver with nothing fancy on it you can probably handle it as a non Linux person. Because I am running all kinds of crazy perl modules and
