Deep Impact reveals fragile comet

A very detailed study is to be released on the initial findings of the Deep Impact mission. Preliminary information indicate that the comet is very fragile and the surface as soft as snowbank. Interesting to say the least. This makes me wonder how a comet would react to a encounter with a high explosive device. [Reuters]

Help me get the word out!

As shelters get stood up, their will be needs for individuals to access online banking, file claims etc. Not to mention trying to reach family members and generally communicate. Being many of the shelters will have 50 people or less in them, and the infrastructure within these shelters may not support more than a couple of phone lines. So long

I want to start flowing money into some Skype accounts directly from our fund raising, but need to spread it around. I want to be able to buy Skype Out credits for accounts without actually having to transfer the money a second time. I need someone with a personal contact at Skype to have them contact me immediately via e-mail

Working the Phones on Disaster Relief

Over the past several days I have been working the phones. I have found out that many organizations that are housing those that have lost everything from the Katrina disaster are getting broadband donated by many of the national service providers. I have been asking what we can do and the biggest request thus far is donations for Skype-Out calls.
