First I want to thank one of readers for sending us the Google WiFi link yesterday, he helped us be one of the first few sites to post the information which resulted in one of our higher traffic days around here. More info is on the street tonight. Those of you that took the time to read the FAQ which

Why would 100,000 people trust their RSS feed to FeedBurner

Feedburner has a nice service but the question remains why would 100,000 people trust a third party to update and maintain the lifeblood of the one single document that connects most sites to their readership. The trend is quite shocking. The second question I raise and I will admit Feedburner has some cool tools the question I as is why

I found some information tonight that made my mouth fall open in disbelief. I have been hammering away at you folks for a while on Fair Use and talking about the evils of the DMCA. Little did I realize the extent to which companies are pushing agendas forward to take us back to the stone ages. Thanks to Doc Searls

Thus far I have been able to get 9 of the 11

What is Techdirt InfoAdvisor?

I found a referal in my logs today that pointed me at a web login page, that was titled "TechDirt InfoAdvisor". Is techdirt sampling the web for specific information they are looking for to build information for stories or what does that site do. If anyone has the scoop on this I am very interested in what that service is

Loomia.com Podcast RSS feeds

Update: Loomia not Hijacking Feeds! It appears that the Loomia site was not hijacking feeds, what was happening was their crawler was finding other sites that had hijacked podcast feeds and indexed them. Which makes me even more mad, not a Loomia but at these other sites. This goes to show you what can happen when a rss portal launches

Google WiFi wifi.google.com ?

Looks like Google is getting ready to roll out WiFi service the question is where, and how much will it cost or will it be free and destroy all the economic models of companies that are charging ridiculous prices for WiFi in large cities. We know Goggle has been buying up broadband capacity so it looks to me like they
