It is also offered as a stand-alone system, with multiple nodes and both tri- and dual-band options to suit the needs of any tech consumer.

The Onelink Bell doorbell system brings homeowners even more control over monitoring their house. With premium features like 1080 HD live video, motion detection alerts at home or away, two-way audio and more, this new smart doorbell solution offers an added level of security outside the home.

Onelink Bell wirelessly connects with other Onelink devices in the home. The Onelink Bell is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Onelink Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm is the ideal supplemental alarm for homes that already rely on the Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled Onelink Safe & Sound for both entertainment and safety. This intuitive, easy-to-install, two-in-one alarm protects against the threats of smoke and CO.

If smoke or CO is detected in the home, the alarm will notify users via exclusive voice and location technology. In the event of a smoke or CO emergency detected in the home, the alarm will also send an alert to the user’s smartphone.

Airthings Debuted Wave Mini at CES 2019

Airthings, specialists in indoor air quality and producers of the best-selling digital radon detectors on the market, announced the launch of their newest quality monitor, Wave Mini, at CES 2019.

The latest addition to Airthings’ growing ecosystem of devices, Wave Mini is an expertly-crafted air quality companion that comes with an entry-level price tag, a perfect starting point for any homeowner looking to gain insight into the quality of their indoor air or as an addition to their smart home system.

Wave Mini is a small product with the ability to make a big impact. As an extension of Airthings’ existing line of smart radon detectors and air quality monitors, including the award winning Wave Plus and the brand’s flagship Wave, the Wave Mini provides insights into three critical air components: total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), temperature, and humidity, allowing you to visualize any changes or comfort levels in every room of your home.

VOCs are common toxins and potentially-harmful chemicals that are omnipresent in indoor environments, typically caused by human-made pollutants like aerosol sprays, paints, fumes, cleaning products and even humans themselves.

Viewing current and historical measurements is easy with the free Airthings mobile app and online dashboard where you gain a full understanding of the air quality levels in every room, giving you the power to take the most effective action. The Airthings Wave family of products connect using Bluetooth or Airthings Smartlink to the Airthings Hub, and integrate with Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and most recently, Google Assistant, allowing for a fully customizable smart home experience.

Wave Mini will be available for pre-order throughout Europe and the US beginning January 31st with an MSRP of $79 USD.

OnTracks Introduces GuideWatches Gloves at CES 2019

OnTracks, a French startup, announced its intuitive solution designed especially for motorcycles and cycle gloves at CES 2019. The GuideWatches guide through vibrations anyone who uses a two-wheeler to reach their destination, without taking any risks by checking their smartphone while in urban mobility.

GuideWatches were created by onTracks for outdoor sportsmen in order to facilitate their life and to guarantee them a safer adventure. These are the first connected watches that allow following itinerary without checking the map on “intrusive” vocal orders of the GPS.

Phillipe Leca, CEO and Founder of onTracks said: “We have already bracelets compatible with GuideWatches that can work either like regular watches or specifically on the upper side of the hands. Integrating them into the gloves was this one step further that we have crossed, thanks to professional glove makers who want to innovate.”

OnTracks is for all the enthusiasts of outdoor activities (jogging, mountain biking, hiking, trail), as well as those who use their bike or motorcycle daily.

The user wears two watches (one on each wrist) and connects them with the onTracks app in their smartphone. The onTracks community suggests a wide selection of tracks to the users, according to their habits, performances and current location.

The users chooses their itinerary, clicks on “GO”, and then puts the phone into their pocket and allows themselves to be guided. When the user needs to turn right, the right bracelet vibrates and indicates the order. As soon as there is a left turn, the left bracelet vibrates, providing the necessary information.

The GuideWatch gloves have the bracelet attached to glove itself, which means the GuideWatch gloves function just like the bracelets do.

The GuideWatches will be commercialized in 2019 in stores specialized for outdoor activities, electronics, mobility and their e-Store.

Netatmo Unveils its Smart Video Doorbell at CES 2019

Netatmo, the leading smart home company for a safer and more comfortable home, unveiled its Smart Video Doorbell at CES 2019.

With the Smart Video Doorbell, the user knows who is ringing their doorbell at any moment. The user can see the visitor on their smartphone and speak to them, responding immediately, even when they are not at home. The Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell also immediately alerts the user if it detects people loitering around the house.

It is the first doorbell compatible with Apple HomeKit that can be controlled using the Apple Home app or by voice using Siri. The Smart Video Doorbell is also compatible with IFTTT, a platform which connects different apps, connected devices and web services.

When a visitor rings the Doorbell, the users receives a video call on their smartphone and sees their visitor. They can choose to speak to them – or not – and immediately respond remotely from their smartphone whether they are home, in the office, or on the other side of the world.

The user tells the delivery person where to leave a package when they are at the office, turns away salespeople without having to open the door, or welcomes guests while preparing dinner.

Netatmo’s Smart Video Doorbell protects the home from intruders and helps the user feel safe in the event of any suspect activity. Thanks to people detection, the users knows in real time if someone is lurking around the front of their home. A precise ‘Person detected’ notification is received on their smartphone and a video of the event is recorded.

Using the built-in microphone and speaker, the user can speak to the intruder and deter them from approaching their home. For added protection, the Security app alerts the user immediately on their smartphone when someone attempts to deactivate the Doorbell or remove it from the wall.

The Smart Video Doorbell has a 1080p Full HD camera with a large 160-degree wide angle lens giving optimum video quality. The camera’s HDR function adjusts to sudden changes in light and allows the user to clearly see what is happening in front of their home whatever the lighting conditions. This means that visitor’s faces will be clear even against the sunlight.

Netatmo’s Smart Video Doorbell protects the home day and night using infrared night vision. The user can always see the visitor at their door, even in total darkness.

Netatmo’s Smart Video Doorbell will be available for purchase in the second half of 2019.
