I am currently running four Google Adwords campaigns for a couple of our sites and did a significant amount of research into the 100 or so search words I am using in the campaigns. Tonight when I went to check on their performance. I found nearly all of them inactive, and the bid amounts needing to be increased.
Saw a post by Jason Calacanis and I will be honest, I cannot agree with his assertion that Netscape is the mainstream version of Digg. With so many sites out there fighting for attention, there is nothing that I have seen at Netscape that has compelled to revisit the site more than a few times.
I am not kidding, I have wondered for months how some stories make it to the top of Digg. I almost gag sometimes at how bad the articles are, or worse yet the story is a re-purposing of someone else's work. Digg needs to stop the fraudulent activity and enact a much more stringent level of user verification.
Looks like Digg is finally going to have some competition. I just hope the fanboys that have essentially destroyed the comments section on digg do not migrate over to Spotplex.
Well sitting here in Chicago tonight with the guys from RawVoice and were talking about the Google Reader reporting in the log files how many Google Reader Subscribers there are.
Well I found out the hard way today when your hosting Video embeds on your website and the site that has those original embeds goes off-line then your site simply refuses to load. This is not a good thing, I bet their are a lot of pissed of people today at Blip.TV I am sitting here watching my site not
