  1. Hey todd wanted to clear things up abit for you about the nokia n-series of internet tables. The N770/N800 and now the N810 are not phones. They are internet tables so it has bluetooth, wifi, email, web browsing, built on linux, open source, etc. So I don’t think you will be able to use it as a phone unless you want to use gizmo or skpe which it supports quite nicely. I do listen to all podcasts on it and I do the following.

I have my home desktop machine setup using podcatcher on a three hour time frame go out and download all new podcasts, I have two scripts on my n810 one for when I’m in the house and one when I’m out and about. These scripts are identical except for the IP address used. Basically they use SSH to login to my home machine, and download all podcasts downloaded by my home machine. This allows me to not worry about how I’m going to get my podcasts I always know I can just take the n810 find a wifi spot and download the current ones. It works great and when I’m done listening I just delete them off the n810 (the scripts delete them off of the home desktop) and I’m good.
