XM Radio pulls XM PCR
Looks like XM has sold out to the man. The RIAA says they had nothing to do with the removal of the XM PCR which when couples with computer software allowed users to record streams of music and other programming onto their computers. This is another knee jerk reaction. We will see how long XM Radio stays in business now.
MP3 Music Weblogs
I have been running the wget script we wrote about several months ago and I am amazed at the number of songs we are pulling down. Many are from artist I have never heard. Some are from cover bans and their re-makes of popular music along with music that has been ripped from a copyrighted CD. Thus far though it
Caller ID Spoofing Service
My wife and I made a decision nearly 2 years ago to no longer pay for Caller ID. I was initially against it but in the long run I have not missed it. All of the important calls come in on the cell anyway. For those of you that have Caller ID a new spoofing service is out their. I
Software used to record XM Radio has RIAA and XM Radio concerned

File Server
For several years I have been wanting to build a dedicated personal file server. After my wife's machine died and I had replaced it, I had a spare case with a huge 550 watt power supply in it. Digging thru my junk boxes I found a older AMD XP 1000 and board that had 384 megs of Ram on it.
Being Pitched by Technology Companies
I get in my inbox on a daily basis a dozen or so pitches from companies looking to have their product pitched. My response always is send me the item and let me keep it and I will write up a review. The software guys are happy to do this, but not the hardware people. I guess we don't have
