Hackers going after Linux and Solaris Supercomputers

The reasons are unknown but several supercomputers have been compromised recently and little is being said about how they have been compromised. I personally wonder if someone is trying to setup some rogue scripts or utilities that will be used for something bigger. [ZDNet]

Congress going after VOIP

Seems Congress is giving the FCC a kick and wants them to look closer and see how VOIP fit's into the modern telecommunication infrastructure. What this basically means is they are looking to regulate and tax it. [eWeek]

FCC to fight equal access to your Cable Internet

Microsoft says security is their number one priority but somehow I don't think so. Quite honestly for the market share they hold they need to be more responsive. Linksys Routers get Critical Review

I have had my share of bad luck with Linksys products and no longer buy what I classify as low-end router products so I was not surprised when I saw a critical Linksys review.
