Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPhone 6 Plus Review

Overall, I’m pretty happy with my iPhone 6 Plus. But one problem I keep having to deal with is screen glare, especially in sunlight. The problem is compounded by my visual impairment and it makes the phone almost unusable outdoors. After doing some online research, I decided to pick up a Power Support Anti-Glare set at my local Apple Store.

The set is pretty straight forward. It comes with a set of instructions along with two adhesive anti-glare films and one adhesive dust remover. For good measure, I removed my iPhone from its protective case (the instructions don’t specifically recommend doing this) and polished the screen using some Juce screen cleaner. Next, I used the included dust removal adhesive strip by applying one half of the strip at a time until the entire front of the phone was covered.

BodyGuardz Screen Protector

BodyguardzBodyguardz won a CES 2013 innovation award for their newest product. It is a screen protector. The biggest complaint about most screen protectors is that they are hard to put on, they don’t look right, and they don’t feel right. Bodyguardz has been making screen protectors for over 10 years. What makes this screen protector special is it is made of glass. It is fifteen-thousandth of an inch thick and is made of tempered glass.

The Bodyguardz package comes with a microfiber cloth to remove the dust from the phone. The best place to put the screen protector on is in a bathroom with a shower running to get the air really moist and remove the dust from it. Once you started the process the Bodyguardz screen protector will seal to your phone automatically. If your phone has any damage ton it already that damage will show through the Bodyguardz screen protector.

The bodyguards protector retails at forty dollars and is available in retail stores and through the website. There is a thirteen dollars replacement fee if you break it under the warranty.

PureGear Roll-On Screen Shield Kit for iPhone

PureGear Roll-On Screen ProtectorPureGear have a fine range of mobile protective mobile phone cases, but there’s one absolutely stand-out product for the Apple iPhone. Andy and Courtney get a demonstration from PureGear’s Mike.

Putting a screen protector on your smartphone has always been a pain. You get air bubbles, you start too high up / low down, it’s not quite straight. We’ve all been there.

PureGear have completely fixed this problem by building the applicator into the packaging so the screen protector goes on right first time. No air bubbles and it all lines up. The iPhone 4/4S slots into the packaging, you give the screen a clean and then you roll the applicator along the phone, applying the protector as you go. Job done perfectly.

It’s a little pricey at $24.99 on-line (according to the video it’s $19.95) but the protector is a high quality film with self-healing properties that should last a year.
