LinkSquare Spectrometer Verifies Presence of Pathogens at CES 2018

LinkSquare makes spectroscopy accessible. They have created a pocket-sized spectrometer that verifies product information, or the presence of dangerous pathogens, by capturing how the object’s molecules vibrate, to create an optical fingerprint.

LinkSquare Basics comes with one LinkSquare handheld spectrometer, software for collecting spectral data, and their sample iOS-based Color Palette App. With easy Wi-Fi connection to your computer, LinkSquare Basic provides fast and convenient data collection. Users can convert the data to the format of their choice and export it to third party software for analysis.

LinkSquare connects with several new consumer-friendly mobile applications.  Use the spectrometer to avoid contracting foodborne illnesses, detect a counterfeit, identify mislabeled and diluted liquor, detect counterfeit and mislabeled drugs, and detect counterfeit money with just the press of a button.

LinkSquare Basic comes with the following:

  • One LinkSquare spectrometer
  • One USB charging cable
  • Software for spectral data collection
  • One set of color palettes
  • Quick Start Guide
  • Product and Safety Instructions.

LinkSquare Basic is priced at $299-$149 USD.
