GNC #1069 Drone Overlords of the FAA

The DOT has decided through the FAA to become drone overlords for hobbyist owners, and at the minimum require registration of your hobby drone, for fear of what could happen. This is not surprising, the question now becomes will model airplane operators now have to register as well?
