MSI gaming computers land early CES 2014 award

While many of us are gearing up for the holidays and the shopping season, which will likely include a fair amount of electronics, the tech industry is getting ready to unveil a slew of new devices — immediately following your purchases. The Consumer Electronics Show kicks off in early January, but awards are already being issued, including one snagged by MSI.

Today, the company announces “MSI Computer Corp, leading manufacturer of computer hardware products and solutions, received the prestigious distinction of International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its GS70 gaming laptop and “Flicker-Free” AG2712A AIO Gaming PC”.

The MSI computers are billed as “flicker-free”, with the all-in-one coming with a Core i7 processor, touchscreen and AMD Radeon graphics. The notebook, the GS70, is described as the world’s thinnest and lightest 17-inch portable gaming laptop, and also has a Core i7 chip inside.

“The GS70 and AG2712A represent the future of gaming units, blending traditional processing muscle with the style demanded by the modern audience”,  stated Andy Tung, vice president of sales for MSI Pan America Region.
