2012 NAB Show Coverage Announcement!

Unlike some of the shows we cover here at Geek News Central I am taking a small team to cover the NAB Show April 14th – 19th to check out the latest and greatest gear and services. This will be our first year officially covering the show, and unlike other shows we will go in with a small team and try and find the best of the best and bring you that coverage.

The goal here at GNC in 2012 is to cover 4 major shows, one each quarter, and while we will not leave NAB with 300 interviews like we did at CES, I hope to cover the biggest news stories of the NAB Show and bring you that info here at GNC.

We will make sure that the blogging team here is ready to go for the show as well, and will be posting stories prior and during the event.

Todd Cochrane is the Founder of Geek News Central and host of the Geek News Central Podcast. He is a Podcast Hall of Fame Inductee and was one of the very first podcasters in 2004. He wrote the first book on podcasting, and did many of the early Podcast Advertising deals in the podcasting space. He does two other podcasts in addition to Geek News Central.   2. “Bruce Devons” has been pumping that piece of crap quasi-anamorphic lens all over the internet the last few days. Please do us a favor and don’t give it a second of attention or oxygen. It’s a sneaky marketing method by not saying that HE WORKS FOR THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE THING. We are busy kicking him out of all the forums.

    It looks insane!!! I’ve always been looking for something like this. I hope they come out with the version for Nikon soon! Looks like just for Canon DSLR right now.
