A lot of people have been talking about the cost of Gasoline here in the United States. I often laugh as having traveled a great deal outside of the United States you should see what they pay for an equivalent gallon in Japan. Everyone loves there big vehicles and I get some enjoyment out of people’s pained looks when they spend $60.00 to fill up their big over sized vehicles.
What will the look on their face be saying when it cost $120.00. If people honestly think that $3.00, and $4.00 per gallon is not around the corner they are kidding themselves.
I wonder how cheap one of those SUV’s will be on the used car lots. Imagine the pain when your commute to your job cost the equivalent of several hours of your wage.
Think mass transit will become popular? Do you think people’s opinions would change about middle east policies. Something to think about, I am predicting that within the next 36 months we will see $4.00 a gallon gasoline. Let’s see if I am right. [BBC]
