Every now and then, I receive some e-mail that makes me write a similar post to this. I always preface this with thats just the way it is. First all and foremost Geek News Central is a labor of love that I have posted on for the past 3 plus years. The addition of the audio content last year added an additional layer of fun to the site, and had resulted in some unique opportunities that you all are probably to well aware. First and foremost like many of you I am a married to a lovely woman and together we have four children. I have a regular day JOB that usually keeps me away from home like most job holders 7-5, Monday thru Friday. Their are times when content is a little light or the post looks like I just slapped something together, and hit publish.
Being there are only 24 hours in the day more times then not I am usually able to look at news starting about 10pm just before bed or 5am when I just get out of bed. I am sure that these late night blogging sessions have a lot to be desired on the grammar side of the house. Being I am back in college, starting a business, producing two shows a week, answering the nearly 1000 valid e-mails I get a week along with spending time with the family please keep that in mind before you drop me your well meaning notes.
I do appreciate the comments and I like the feedback it keeps me on my toes but because this websites readership is ever growing I thought I would give you some feedback. :) Aloha
that need responding to. Did I mention I am back in college? So if post end up being a bit garbled from time to time it’s not because I am trying to give you English teachers out their a headache it’s because quit honestly I don’t have time to re-read the content 4 times before hitting publish.
I don’t think that it would hurt for you to take a week or so off, Todd. When did this turn into being “work” instead of being fun? You’re the one that’s in charge, here. For the past month you’ve mentioned many times how much “work” you’re doing. We understand. Take a break! I’m sure that we’ll all be here when you get back. Your family needs you more than we do!
