Yes, there are downward trends and summer probably has alot to do with it (although many of the trends start to go south around Jan/Feb – dead of winter).
However, that doesn’t explain the UPWARD trend in other sites (which the article goes on to explain).
The point here isn’t just the downward trend, but a CHANGING trend in certain sites. So social sites are more popular in the summer?
At the major ISP I work for it is our slow season. Everyone *is* actually outside and not on their computers. that’s just how it seasonally goes.
