It seems the battle to limit consumers from recording music is being taken to levels of insanity. First of all about the only people recording music coming out of speakers are kids and certain live band performances. But it seems SunComm wants to encode digital recordings with some algorithms that will make speaker based recordings sound terrible.
The Insanity will not end till consumers fight for their rights. [Techdirt]
LMAO!!! ROFL!!! LOL!!! OMG, what is the music industry doing? Even if they could invent such technology there will be somone that will crack it and be able to playback on speakers and record music that way. Just look at the copy protection on CD-ROMS and DVD’s , im my opinion that is not working to well, people still crack the copy protection and copy the disk. You will not stop people from pirating music, games, programs, ect., I JUST CAN’T BE STOPED!!! Well i am really wating now if they will come out with that tecnology, it will be funny if they do, but i don’t know anybody that actually pirates music by playing back on speakers then recording through equipment. Copy protections are getting more rediculous every year.
