Snippet of the supposed SCO infringing code revealed

I am in SCO bashing mood I am not sure why. I guess it is the Anti Sue thread that lives in my body. Companies and Individuals who sue others just because they can does not make it the right thing to do.

I had a airbag fail to deploy a few years ago in a very serious accident I was in. The car manufacture was all about kissing my butt. I had no intention to sue the company they even offered compensation which I turned down. Most people would have called me crazy but hey thats the way I am. Accidents and malfunctions happen all the time. All that I did ask was that car manufacture buy the totaled car from the insurance company tear it apart and find out why it did not deploy. It turned out that the airbag mechanism had been serviced incorrectly by a unauthorized repair shop which caused it to fail to deploy. As I had been the second owner of the vehicle I was not at all surprised people will do anything to save a buck.

So the moral of the story I guess is what has happened has happened and nothing they can do will change it. They need to take there lumps and move on instead of pissing every one else off. They will do nothing but to piss the Unix community off. [Dan Gillmor’s E-Journal]
