Should Antivirus software detect Spyware?

You would think that the major Antivirus vendors would include Anti-Spyware detection algorithm’s. It’s a logical step in the evolution of protecting consumers from unwanted commercial spyware applications from spying on us. I personally think that it is more than likely a liability issue. As the AntiVirus Vendors would be eliminating others companies tools that are used to build marketing profiles. For now we all are forced to load separate spyware detection application. [PCWorld]
