I had never really used the Itunes' album view, not because I don't like the concept, but because when I did it with my library there were far too many album showing the blue note indicating there was no album cover. I had tried to have Itunes scan my library, but many of my album were still not found. I had tried various other methods, but none were completely satisfactory until now when I found Tuneup.
I have both a Comcast DVR and a TiVo HD. I was having difficulty one day getting my Comcast DVR to do what I wanted it to do, so I decided to do a comparison between it and the TiVo, the result is the following chart. The one plus that Comcast has over TiVo at this point is cost. You have to buy a TiVo, which depending on the model can run anywhere from $149 up to $499. Comcast DVR comes with the service so is free other then the rental fee. To be honest though I am more then willing to pay for the TiVo, it is just an all around better user experience. The origins of the Onion newspaper come from my hometown. In fact, I worked with a few of the staffers at other local University newspapers. I did do a couple "Satire" articles for the Onion, but nothing was published. Apparently, the Onion has a great reach - even to those who don't understand. Another article was re-published as actual news.
I am pretty impressed so far with the QIK application that was finally released for the iPhone, minus live streaming. I am sure I will be pushing a lot more short videos to Qik now. Here is a short 3 minute video I shot walking around the yard.
We, humans are social animals, we communicate with each other by any means possible, originally it would have been by voice, or drum or smoke, what ever worked. Let's face it though those methods are not very reliable and the messages tended to get muddled. Then came the written language which was more reliable, but only a few could read
