Livestream Broadcaster with LTE is being Introduced at CES 2013

If you are watching the live video stream coming off of Geek News Central or the Tech Podcast Network website, then you are watching a LiveStream video.  LiveStream produces both the hardware and software that lets you stream video live over the internet without a PC. They are introducing a new product at CES 2013  the LiveStream Broadcaster LTE which will allow you to broadcast without a wi-fi or wired connection. It will use the Verizon 4G LTE network.

This is an upgrade to the LiveStream Broadcaster introduced in April 2012. In addition to running off  the Verizon’s 4G LTE network, the device now runs off a built-in battery instead of AA batteries. If you are at CES you can see a live demonstration at the Verizon Booth SU (31400). It will be available in spring 2013. The price is still to be announced.
