Goodbye iPhone Apple made me do it!

I am sitting here so pissed I can barely contain myself due to the actions of Apple in conjunction with the denial of two podcasting applications from being listed in the Apple App store. Advertising trouble on TV

I got a tivo a few years back & have had a dvr of some kind ever since. I now have dish so I use theirs which is a good one but not quite as good as the tivo. The biggest plus is of course the time shifting factor. But the ability to skip past commercials is a close second.

A recent article in the New York Times was trying to link the decline of landlines in homes as a result of a slowing economy. Youtube offers music for your videos

I uploaded a video last week to youtube and something new happened. They offered to add a music clip to my video for me, for free of course. I think this is pretty cool. I usually add my own music but this particular video I had not. I checked the list of songs available and they were chosen to line

Books Replaced?

I heard Todd mention in a podcast last week that books may never be fully replaced by a device. On another podcast I also heard the same thoughts from a guy who is not a geek. I have the same feeling but I know better than to say it will never happen. Throughout time people have seen things invented or
