Every since I have gotten back from CES I have a pile of data I need to send to Andy McCaskey and when we found the new “Tubes” application we have been using it to push data back and forth. I simply drop files in a folder that he and I have shared and the application sends it to him. This works out great for dropping a pile of data in the folder before I go to bed and it gets pushed to him overnight.
Really awesome and simple to use. The team at RawVoice up to this point has been using Groove to keep our files library synchronized but this application has no where the overhead as Groove does and it’s free. If you have not checked out the application yet you will want to. Tubesnow.com
I went to the site and downloaded the app. It is amazing! I have been sharing stuff so easily with Tubes now. It’s great. I have been using it to move files and digital content from my work computer to my home computer. I love it because I don’t need to take mylaptop home with me. I just drag and drop the file into the Tube and when I go home- there it is! All you have to do is on another computer go to http://www.tubesnow.com and login in. Then go to the download page- just download the app to that computer and walla…you have a “tube” connecting your work stuff with your home stuff! I have been creating my own Tubes and inviting my friends and coworkers to specific tubes- music, videos, photos…etc. There isn’t anything out there like it. You should check it out. http://www.tubesnow.com
