Sadly it may be and you don’t even know it. A in-depth report on the lengths spammers are going to is amazing. A unknown Russian group has control of about 70,000 computers worldwide and this is only one of many botnets that are being used to send spam or do task that their masters want them to.
Touched a nerve with the last show and tonight I could not even cover 1/10 of all the audio and e-mail comments. Maybe it is time for a spin off show where I deal with all the audio and e-mail commentary. Seeing the buzz around this I am pretty sure that the rumors are true then indeed this is a pretty amazing turn of events. The question to be asked is what’s next Jason? I know that he is doing a podcast over on Podtech and that makes me wonder if he is going to get more heavily involved in that space or will he try something else.
NASA wants to launch the upcoming mission to the ISS at night while the risk are higher they benefits are a wider launch window and less pressure for NASA. [USA Today]
I have started putting together the materials for WhatsAPodcast.com website. I really do not have the time to build a unique template for the site but I would like the site to really look nice, unique & professional. I am not a developer and my development team at RawVoice has their hands full. But I am willing to CASH reward someone that comes up with a cool design and resulting template.
I hear about people from time to time that have troubles with Windows Genuine Advantage, yet I am not sure how widespread the problem is. Have you run into this trouble or have first hand knowledge of someone else that has a Genuine copy of Windows only to be labeled by the application as having a Pirated versions? There is more information surfacing in the Zune - Rocketboom promo proposal that made headlines yesterday when Andrew from Rocketboom publicly responded to Microsoft on his turning the deal down. From what I have gathered the following quote in the deal was what turned the deal sour. "You may not display the Logo(s) on any site that disparages Microsoft or
A report released today by Smartware tested each browser against an array of independently submitted phishing sites. Firefox did almost a 100% better then IE7 did. I suppose we should not be surprised but honestly I expected better results. [Washington Post]
I really went off last night when I saw the linked article on Engadget. I think I ranted about this for about 10 minutes on my show last night. The corresponding 42 screen shots made me realize that the Zune team and Microsoft learned nothing from Apples Success!
Well we have another winner and he who won will be very surprised. I go after Microsoft and the Zune player in a big way tonight and I think you will agree with me they just don't get it. There is a very interesting post by Andrew Baron from Rocketboom where he turned down some sort of Zune deal with Microsoft. I am sitting here with my mouth wide open, first of all he publicly posted the refusal letter he sent them. If Microsoft approached me on a media buy of some sort their is no way that I would ever post my response letter online. You just don’t do that.
