AIM Pages not Impressive

If the plan for AOL was to compete with MySpace with AIM Pages then by the look of the site today it is dead on arrival. Heck it does not even work in Firefox and some are saying even Safari users are having trouble. The site reminds me of GeoCities from the 80’s in fact I wonder if they actually used some of that code. [www.aimpages.com]

Update: This post by Jason Calacanis is an indication that he has drank to much of the AOL Koolaid. Your kidding Right?

Yeah, I see nothing wrong here, and I think it’s awesome. Being a teenager, I can say my friends will be using this and since every person I know uses AIM as their primary IM client.
The AJAX profile editor is slick! I love the module idea. This is like what a social networking site is supposed to be like.
I am on Myspace, but it’s not because I like it at all. It is simply because there is nothing else everyone I know is on. Well, I think this will change all that. This is something people will enjoy using.
This is what a social networking site should be like! Sexy, easy to use, fun, and free. Who would have thought AOL could have pulled out a good product?
Todd, I guess you don’t understand because your too old or something. Haha, j/k.
