Lot’s of people are saying see I told you so, but apparently they figured out that creating and managing content is a heck of a lot of work. I think very smartly they have backed away from those plans and now will focus on content acquired by other media companies. Hey Yahoo lets Talk! [New York Times]

Todd – speaking of smarts, wouldn’t it have been smarter for them not to enter so many businesses to begin with? For years Yahoo’s biggest problem has been too many hands in too many kitchens and master chef of none.
Of course now Google is following suit.
