It seems that these nasty companies that call my home phone line at midnight with a Fax beeping on the other end have figured out a way to bypass some federal laws. These companies send you a Fax but when you call the 800 number listed on the Fax to be removed from the list you find that these companies have blocked calls from Hawaii, and Alaska. Up to this point there has been no real way to get removed from these lists, until now!
I have been using Skype Out to dial a 800 number and being that Skype is using a exchange that is located in the Continental US I am able to dial in to their automated system and have my number removed. It has always made me mad to have my home phone ring at 2am only to find out it’s some fax spammer.
If I had a $100.00 for every time it occurred I could have my house payments made every month. The Federal Violators this time around is a company hawking some trash called “The Tout Sheet” and their 800 removal number is 800-958-3731, to top it off they are also violating “the do not call list” on thing for sure they are definitely disturbing my family, hopefully this will start the process to correct the abuse.
