Well I am sure many of you have realized by now that TiVo and Replay DVR recorders are nothing more than a computer with a hard-drive in them and a dual head TV video receiver. Those of you with DVR’s love them, but what would you think of installing a TV card in your PC and then being able to buy the Software that runs a Replay box and turn your PC into your DVR.
Sure their are kits out their where you can build your own but this is the first time a major DVR manufacture has stepped up to the plate. Something that TiVo will now have to consider. I am quite excited as this is going to really cause an increase in hacker activity extend the capabilities of some of the tools out their. [Engadget]
