We all love a cool Mapping Application

A couple of months ago I took my wife on a Google Maps tour of every place I have ever lived and retraced many of my childhood haunts but looking at the low resolution satellite images that we are being treated to these days. It was a lot of fun. I have moved to a new location of the country due to my regular job every three years. Having lived in Hawaii for the past eight is a miracle in itself but it was kind of fun traversing online all of these cool haunts.

We all have places on the planet that bring back good and bad memories and as the integration of maps move to commerce applications like they are they give people like me a chance to look around the area before loading up the moving truck and starting on a new adventure. This also is leveling the playing field for many of us and giving us a opportunity to make important decisions about areas to consider moving into before actually arriving to scout out a area. I encourage you to make use of some of these great new tools. If it is only to check out a area you used to live in or scouting for a new home these interactive maps are the place to start.
