I was at an event today that blew my mind as I was able to get into the production room during the recording of a performance and the video tools I saw being employed by staff rocked my world. I am not into the video editing world but sorry to say their was not a Mac in the production trailer. Everything was being run on high end Windows based servers and the software tools were amazing.
I asked the production crew why they don’t use Macs and he said they don’t scale to this complexity i was shocked. After seeing those tools I know their has to be some commercial audio production tools out their and because I am going to be investing heavily in my show and in the preparation for the launch of the Podcast News Network we want to build out professional production systems for our organization.
What are the software titles they use?
Funny – I was just talking about this a couple of days ago – it seems for post prodution a couple of the stations around here (Cleveland) use Final Cut.
