  1. OK, I’m so old I have to comment about BBSs. I recall the excitement of buying my first Apple 300 baud modem! And logging onto the L.A. Mac users BBS. And finally getting onto GEnie where I could post and read those only text discussion threads. I remember using Red Ryder (was that the name?) telecommunication software to make sure the handshaking protocols were in sync.
