The hunt is over. I have been wanting a Edirol R1 for months and it seems Edirol cannot meet nationwide demand and units have been on backorder and sold out for months. On Friday I got a BSW magazine on the mail and low and behold on the front page is the same thing being offered by Marantz.
Audio suppliers have them in stock and even though they are a little more expensive at least you can order them. I have been fortunate enough to be getting one shipped to me to demo although it will not be mine to keep I can at least do a decent review of it and let the podcating community know if this gem is going to do the job.
