Red Hat Founder Offers Apple “Tiger” License

In light of the recent suit filed by Tiger Direct against Apple Computer (over the name “Tiger”), Red Hat founder Robert F. Young has offered to license the word “Tiger” to Apple, claiming that the Canadian football team he owns, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, has used the name far longer than Tiger Direct.
