Google has finally released something from beta to live. The search engine king has been the subject of many jokes because it seems that everything they offer is in beta. We all have to eat a little crow because Google Desktop has been formally released. Desktop will search your 
computer for files, e-mails, spreadsheets, and more, for terms, or keywords, just like their main search engine. Desktop will search Outlook, Outlook Express, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, IE, AOL Instant Messenger, Netscape, Firefox, Thunderbird, PDF, Music, Videos, Images, and more with plug-ins available.
