Yesterday in San Francisco at the Intel Developers Forum, Intel introduced concept designed PC’s that they would like to see in the future. These are portable PC’s that Intel feels will be where the consumer market is heading toward in the next year. From Intels’ website:
Don MacDonald, Vice President, General Manager, Digital Home Group, Intel, set the stage for the future of digital home technology at yesterday morning’s keynote address. MacDonald emphasized the importance of standards, “Standards will grow the market and are critical in the digital home,” said MacDonald. He went on to say, “Individual cooperation is essential to all our success,” before inviting Joe Belfiore, General Manager, Windows eHome Division, Microsoft, to the stage. “Microsoft and Intel are highly aligned on our vision for the digital home,” said Belfiore.
One of the three concepts from Intel was very familiar.. in fact the concept was Steve Jobs’s concept before it was Intel’s I think. Take a look at the picture and judge for yourself.
