When we moved to our new house we upgraded from Analog cable to Digital and in the process signed up for the DVR package that Time Warner offers. At the time my wife was saying how spoiled I was of my gadgets. Well you know what they say boys and their toys.
So to my amazement tonight I heard my wife talking on the phone raving about the DVR. Not realizing she had been using it that much I pulled up the recording history and started laughing. 75% of the scheduled recordings where her entries. It’s no wonder why she deleted a bunch of stuff I had scheduled while I was on travel last time as the box was at it’s capacity.
Armed with this information that she does not realize I have I will be springing a well devised trap to get her to agree to a TiVo or similar box with more features. Sometime you just have to let them play with it gentleman. What helped her was the channel that showed her how to use it. This is a major coup.
You don’t know anything about women, do you?
As soon as you tell her there is something better or more efficient and readily attainable and you know about it and she doesnt, then you are guilty of intentionally concealing this knowledge specifically to make her life more difficult. It will, without further discussion, be forever your fault.
Yep, when we got DirecTV with dual-tuner TiVo my wife was skeptical but now she’s one of the biggest fans and talks about it all the time….it’s THAT good!
