We are fast approaching our 2 year anniversary. We are very happy with the continued increase in readership, which has averaged increases of 14.8% over the past 12 months. With that growth comes a huge server bill.
I was able to secure upon my initial contract 2 years ago with the hosting company a 100 gig cap on monthly bandwidth for a reasonable rate. We blew that out at the 14 month window, we are now nearing another gate with the 250 gig monthly limit to be surpassed sometime in June the new caps have not been cheap.
I had vowed to never ask for donations but my wife has been giving me the critical eye upon seeing the latest server bill. I even cringed so I am throwing vows out the window.
