Every day more professional groups are coming out and making statements about offshoring American jobs. In my daily dealings with companies that are out their developing leading edge technology I can not even begin to think what will happen as some of these jobs are outsourced. It is pretty easy to jump on an airplane and visit a contractor and work out software issues but I cannot even imagine having to book International flights and turn 1 or 2 day trips into week-long events. The list goes on over the disadvantages of offshoring but I will do everything in my power to work with companies that invest in America. [ZDNet]

Americans must have been doing something right over the past forty years to be worthy of so much emulation from our foreign counterparts. The key to American leadership is to go back to our roots in innovation. Capitalism is a bitch, but it also says you get what you pay for, eventually the aggressive outsourcers will learn that. The globe is only so big, and eventually these companies will learn you can only chase cheap labor around the globe for so long until you run out of places to look.
Don’t be afraid ! It’s not true what you say. You can do it all by ADSL and other ways of comunication. Don’t stay in the past. Soon there will be no more companies investing in America. Offshoring is cheaper and better. Got more quality. AMERICANS ARE TEACHING INDIANS, LATIN AMERICANS AND RUSSIANS HOW-TO-DO-IT. Rethink. My prices are lower than yours, surely. I work and you sell.
