I am not into speculation nor am I into pointing fingers when documents are put on the web and conspiracy theories start. But the purported e-mail from SCO raises my eyebrows! I will let you all be the judge but it is an interesting e-mail to say the least. [OpenSource.org]

@Please
So far this morning it’s all proved to be that the letter is true. SCO is confirming that the letter is real. Looks like you spoke to soon. I don’t agree with working for free, but I think you need to pull your head out just a little.
Please use your brain a little. This ESR is touching my nerves. He is feeding the internet trolls. Why do you want to be a troll, that’s beyond me. Someone sent, or so ESR says, to ESR from SCO, nobody admits anything, the piece of text ESR put up there is full of spelling errors, written in a stupid way. This is definitely a brain-washing technique and reminds me the communism, and techniques they use to spread their lies. I am not kidding, that’s what it is. In order to force you to use their license and their products, they spread lies about their biggest competitors. Sure, many people enjoy it, but this ESR guy and his friends are not so funny actually. If you think about it, they practically want all software developers to work for free. They are always imitating other bigger companies and their products, they want everything free, they don’t want you to criticize any of their work, yet they think they can say anything they want for companies. And btw, you are being used by them.
