Imagine someone sending you a e-mail message threatening to Blackmail you by saying that they will either wipe your computer or utilize porn to get you in trouble. If I got that type of message I would probably hit delete and flip my middle finger at the screen. Imagine someone though that is not computer savvy they could really be concerned. This could only be effective at work so if your workplace has a security department that would be a good place to start as Blackmail is against the law and people can and do go to Jail for attempting it.
