The idiot lawyers at SCO deliver 1 million pages of paper to IBM

In an absolute bold move that can only be labeled as contempful the decision by SCO’s legal counsel to deliver the source code IBM had requested by semi truck and with 1 million pieces of paper was not only harmful to the environment but an obvious tactic to mess with IBM.

This will ultimately backfire on SCO as the publics perception of them continues to slid toward the toilet. This news was originally quoted in an Cnet article and was recently commented about by Dan Gillmor. [Dan Gillmor] [Cnet]

What DoS attack? Security folks are pointing out plenty of reasons why an attack in the manner SCO describes is extremely unbelievable, but if it were the case, you’d think a company like SCO could figure out how to patch their Linux web server and Cisco routers. Any outage of SCO’s site is likely their own fault. I can’t wait to see the press release claiming that it was IBM. :)
