I come home today and the wife says honey the computer quit working. Putting on my Geek hate I go over and take a look and sure enough it won’t fire up no bios nothing. Pulling the lid off I smell the distinct odor of something that has let the smoke out. Well I see a nice black mark on the motherboard. Ouch that hurts and the damn thing is less than a year old. So off I go to the computer store tomorrow to pick up a new board. I just hope the CPU did not blow. Anyone have any suggestions on motherboards that are hot at the moment?
